We are Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church – and this means to us:
IMMANUEL (“God with us”) - God is creator, owner, and sustainer of all that is. He entrusts His creation to us for good stewardship. He is active in His world and among us, expects us to love and praise Him and do His will for our well-being.
EVANGELICAL (“living the Gospel, the Good News”) - through God’s grace we are saved and forgiven in Jesus Christ. We freely proclaim the Good News to all.
LUTHERAN – deeply rooted in the Gospel of God’s grace which was given a new emphasis and clear definition by Martin Luther and the other reformers, gathering around God’s word and the sacraments.
Our Pastor - Pastor Sönke Schmidt-Lange
Our Pastor came to us in 2003. He has served churches in Germany, England, Canada, and New York. He is enthusiastic supporter of our congregation's bilingual ministry and welcomes visitors and members to our friendly congregation.
Our Music Director Dr. James Clements
Our Creative and gifted music director enriches our congregation's worship and other church life as organist and pianist and director of choir and bell choir. He enjoys bringing a variety of Christian music as well as music of the rich Luttheran tradition.
