This event celebrated the 500th anniversary of the beginning of the Protestant Reformation on October 31, 1517, when Martin Luther
posted his 95 Theses and initiated what we now know
as the Protestant Reformation
The festival worship service, which began at 10:00 AM, was held on
the Immanuel church campus and was officiated by our
current pastor The Rev. Dr. Norbert Hahn assisted by
former Pastors Sönke Schmidt-Lange and Paul Beck.

George Anderson Professor of Mission and Cultures at the United Lutheran Seminary. He earned his Ph.D. at the University of Hamburg, Germany. |
