What are these gifts?
Chicks $10.00
Ten little chicks make a big difference. Eggs are not only an ongoing supply of protein-rich meals, they also help bring in steady income when sold at the market. With this gift, things are looking up – sunny side up, that is.

Rooster $15.00
Add a rooster to the chicken coop, and help the farm grow! More chickens on the farm mean more eggs to eat and sell at the market. This gift is a great leap forward for a family struggling with hunger and poverty.

Honey bees $ 20.00
A buzz-worthy gift, honeybees have a growing importance as the shrinking honeybee population worldwide is especially worrisome. Beeswax can be transformed into handcrafted soaps, candles, honey and other products to create a small, sustainable business. But that’s not all – we know that their mere presence on a farm means that they are pollinating plants and boosting crop growth far and wide.

Piglet $30.00
It doesn’t take long for a tiny piglet to grow to 200 pounds or more. And when this not-so-little piggy goes to the market, it’s worth a pretty penny. Should a family have a failed harvest, medical expense or other unexpected need, this gift can be cashed in to make all the difference.

One goat $50.00
Pair of goats $100.00
If there’s a superhero of the barnyard, it just might be the goat. Why? Because goats can go where other animals can’t, surviving in some of the world’s harshest environments – rocky terrain, drought-prone areas, small plots of land, you name it. Fresh milk from a goat provides daily nutrition for children and their families. And what’s more, offspring can rapidly transform a community when shared with other families in need.

Stock a backpack with food $10.00
There’s a clever way of fighting childhood hunger that’s gaining traction in the United States. And it’s based around one thing that school children have in common: a backpack. More than 30 million children in the United States depend on school meal programs to keep them full and focused each weekday. But on weekends, many students have no choice but to go hungry. The solution? Stocking a child’s backpack with a weekend’s supply of food each Friday afternoon. That way, children – and their entire families – have a couple of days of healthy eats, and one less thing to worry about.
